I don't like to write negative reviews of places, but at the time my overwhelming feeling was how unnecessary their mean spirited actions were and I somehow felt the officers enjoyed creating difficulty for a low key friendly patron. I attributed it to his bad luck or perhaps some hidden hostility on his part as up till then I had not experienced anything negative. As an afterthought, I always got my gas at the Camel Rock Casino as the prices were reasonable, but on one occasion I overheard a man complaining about some incident with the local police which had upset him. The police experience was so unnecessary, unreasonable and mean-spirited and so turned me off, I thought it was way over the top. Generally I lost a little money, but I felt a friendliness of the workers and guests at the casino. I had previously gone there many times and enjoyed it particularly the little restaurant at the back of the casino where they had great breakfast burritos and a good grilled cheese sandwich. His behavior was so offensive it left a bad taste about everything there. I was courteous, low key and friendly and was confronted by an obese overbearing mean-spirited police officer over a minor parking issue.
With 3D and XD theatres, plush lounge seating, and alcohol & refreshments, there’s a little something for every type of movie-goer at Santa Fe Station. Someone needs to advise the local police force there that the camel rock casino is a customer service environment. Our on-site 16-screen movie theatre is the perfect place for everything from casual date nights to relaxing family afternoons. I like the casino well enough, although its a bit dingy, but seemed homey.
